Omaha - Market Snapshot New Construction Permits Pulled.
Each month I post the latest new construction permits data. It’s a nice measure to see how our community is growing and the health of the new construction industry.
For this report, I post the previous 5 years data, as Omaha fluctuates a little less than most communities.
I don’t post the seasonal correction…just a personal preference. Not a lot of permits are pulled in Dec-Feb, so that’s why there is an annual dip.
Thanks always to FRED, the service of the St. Louis Fed, though for this one, I do wish they included a trendline.
